I ordered the game special which was antelope with mixed veggies, corn and wild rice. I 've NEVER had antelope and didn 't know what to expect except that it might taste like venison. It was delicious and not gamey at all. Top notch meal, nicely presented and nice atmosphere. Waiter was good but a little snotty when my friend asked for salt to season her pasta dish. We dimmed here many times. Weather it formal or not as formal dining area. It is not only the amazing gourmet food, but the amazing service we get, and the stunning atmosphere. Weather it is jazz on the terrace in summer or a chic dinner, the castle never lets us down. With every visit better than the previous one, I will always be in awe of this place.
The first time in 44 years. The food was absolutely above all the expectations I had. The service was excellent and our party was pampered like a license. The usual fare such as steak, scallops, lobster etc. Then add in Pheasant, Elch and Ente. And the desert? You soon know how the angels eat. And yes, the wine! Wow.
