Generous portions and just the right amount of spiciness! I'm sweating buckets but I can't stop eating! The staff was great and very helpful! Chicken Biryani is good enough for 2 person for people eating less rice. The taste will be enough to make you sweat Though, not much of a side dish included.
The roti is fantastic. I had the vegetarian meal and the butter chicken, and the beef kebab. Everything was great except the beef kebab taste like it was from frozen. Wish they served chaat or gol gappe. The salt lassi was excellent. Indoor and outdoor seating. Edit: after going back multiple times I’m going to upgrade this to five stars. The best Punjabi food in Bicol.
Dumbfounded is what I would like to describe the feeling I got when i first tasted the food there. Visiting with minimal expectations, i was quite surprised by the quality of Indian food i was served. Very flavorful, use of Indian spices, the taste was more authentic and up to the quality than most Indian restaurant in Cebu. The atmosphere made it feel like i was eating in a homely environment with very jolly staff who even gave us extras and our chachi who was kind and attentive.
Even better than the ones in Manila! Beef Masala was really good. Dishes were a bit slow coming out but maybe because they were done exceptionally well.
What a pleasant surprise! They had such HUGE servings of authentic Indian food. The owner was so courteous, and his staff were really amazing too. I’m definitely going back here the next time we visit Albay.
