Trungo’s - Leesburg

I almost hesitant to post this review for fear that I won?t be able to get a seat next visit! Trungo?s is a hidden gem. This was my second visit and it was even better than the first time. I received some intel about heading to the underground on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month. Last visit we saw the Loudoun Jazz Ensemble and tonight was Swing Shift. The regular restaurant is closed, but the place to be is downstairs and it was standing room only tonight. Theband was on! We had a table of about 14 friends meet up some had been there before and others were new to the venue but everyone was, pardon the pun, blown away. If you want a fun night to hang with friends, share some good food,drinks and excellent music go to Trungo?s?just leave a seat for me!

The food is unique in the best way! Super friendly professional staff. I discovered them by following the amazing smell emanating from the restaurant. Now I eat at Trungo?s every time I?m in town!

This was a difficult review to write. I'm giving it 4 stars because the waitress was pleasant and because I finished my entire meal. However, let me be clear: Kraft macaroni and cheese should never be served on a $28 plate. The mac and cheese tasted completely like it was made from powdered cheese. I'm not sure if that was just for tonight or if it’s always prepared this way, but if I were the chef, I would be embarrassed.

This local treasure offers a delightful experience with the homemade goodness and love infused in every dish. If you're fed up with generic chain restaurants that serve overpriced, flavorless microwaved meals, head to Trungos and you'll immediately notice the difference. Their thoughtfully curated menu features a variety of delicious and healthy options to cater to all tastes. With the charm of a small town and genuine customer service, dining here will remind you of what going out to eat is truly meant to be like.

My company held a casual networking event at Trungo's, and we couldn't be more pleased! It was an incredible experience. The drink selections were excellent, the food was tasty, and everything was well-organized. Most importantly, the staff was fantastic—very friendly and attentive. The custom sign was a delightful touch! Thank you for hosting us. We will definitely be back.
