During the top dining hours (6 7 p.m.) without reservation, they accepted their offer for us to eat in the small waiting area outside the door instead of waiting for the 2 hours for the next table. Horrible food and service. The broccoli rabe was cold and very hard to chew and had no taste. The focaccia was frozen in the middle and be aware the prices and menu is totally different from their website View all feedback.
The food was enjoyable, and the service was excellent. However, the price-to-value ratio was quite disappointing. We arrived during happy hour and opted for the $51 pasta tasting menu, thinking it would be $51 for both of us. Instead, we received six small samples of pasta, and it turned out to be $51 per person. We ended up spending $100 on a "happy hour" pasta special that didn't even amount to a full plate of pasta. We could have each ordered a regular pasta dish for just $20, saving us half the cost. Overall, it felt excessively overpriced.
I truly enjoyed every aspect of this restaurant. The service was excellent, and the food delightful. As someone who doesn’t drink, I found it wonderful that they offered several non-alcoholic wine options, including a flight! This was my first experience with a flight of zero-proof wines, as I’ve never encountered this elsewhere. The food was impressive too—especially the truffle pasta and the roasted chicken sandwich. The trout was a bit on the salty side, but everything else was so good that I didn’t mind it too much.
We visited the restaurant for the first time on a Thursday for lunch, and it was quite peaceful, not too crowded. I initially ordered a pumpkin pasta dish, but it turned out to be a bit too salty for my taste. The staff was very accommodating and offered to let me choose something else, so I decided on the smashburger, which was absolutely delicious! We didn't order any drinks this time, but if we return, we might give happy hour a try. Overall, the service was excellent!
My husband and I are such foodies and we are always looking for that special spot! WE FOUND IT! We were so impressed by how every bite was packed with flavor! My husband got the rigatoni Bolognese and I got the burger! The wine was superb and our sever Steve was so knowledgeable! The S’mores Tart was the best dessert we have ever had! Thanks for great service and a great experience! See you soon! : Service: Dine in
The WK is our absolute favorite restaurant in all of Loudoun! The service, food, and drinks are exceptional. Tonight, we celebrated our 5th anniversary, and it was a wonderful experience! I’m in food heaven and will be sharing memories of our meal for days to come. If you haven’t been there yet, you should definitely give it a try! They are participating in restaurant week, and everything we sampled from the menu was fantastic! Thank you for the outstanding meal and service tonight—Jeff was excellent!
