I had only been here one time before which I didn't rate. But this second time around it was even better. Their chicken here is very good and everything is honestly priced. You can definitely eat here on a budget and enjoy it. If you splurge a bit, you can enjoy it even more. Highly recommend trying this place. View all feedback.
What Haley B doesn't like about Carmen's Cantina:
Started calling at 7:20 to place a carryout order for a few quesadillas. I called several times with no answer and finally started getting a busy signal at 20 minutes before closing. This was very upsetting. View all feedback.
This might be the most underrated Mexican restaurant in Kansas City, not just Lee's Summit. Great deals on drinks and the food is phenomenal. My girlfriend had the street tacos and I had a mushroom and chicken quesadilla. Absolutely blew my socks off. Will definitely be returning and highly recommend.
Outstanding carnitas. You order them other places and most of the time it's just pork roast. Like out of a crockpot. Carnitas are supposed to be crispy. Like Carmen's. Love their salsa here too. Would be nice to be able to pay from your table. Mass exodus takes a while to check out when everyone meanders to the cash register at the same time.
Love the staff and the food but my favorite is the frozen strawberry margarita
