Jose Pepper's Mexican - Lees Summit

I forgot to take any pictures, but this was my first visit to a Jose Pepper's restaurant, and I was thoroughly impressed. It felt like an upscale Mexican dining experience. The guacamole is one of my favorites, and theirs is among the best I've had in a long time—no underripe avocados here! I also tried their queso dip, which was equally outstanding. Of course, I had a couple of margaritas, followed by the Enchilada Trio dinner. Honestly, these were the best enchiladas I've ever tasted, no exaggeration. There was even a delightful surprise: a small dollop of sweet corn cake, which is something few Mexican restaurants offer. Someone at my table ordered fajitas, and the portion was incredibly generous. It was topped with a large roasted jalapeno, which she didn’t want, so I happily took it. It was delicious! This location is a bit far from where I live, as we met there for a group dinner, but after this delightful experience, I was eagerly searching for a closer location. We might even be going back tonight! Update: I visited the location in Liberty, and yes, they serve the same fantastic food and provide excellent service.

I would give this place a perfect 5/5, but I just can't because they are ALWAYS playing country music. I truly love everything else about this restaurant! The waitstaff is fantastic, and the food is excellent! However, please change the music. I know you can do it, so don’t tell me you can’t.

Our server, Kat, provided exceptional service. She showed great respect to all of us, ensured our drinks were always full, and delivered our food promptly. While many restaurants are struggling during the pandemic, this one is definitely doing it right!

Our server, Clema was awesome. Fast, hot and good food. If you like cilantro, you'll love this place!

I went and ordered some fajitas with my parents... AMAZING! you have got to get veggie only fajitas.
