Minimal service, staff there seem... read more I have visited Ruby’s over the years and found the food and service to be very good. My visit last Friday was very different. Minimal service, staff there seem disinterested, no eye contact and just ticking the box. The breakfast I ordered was tasteless. Sorry to be negative, maybe it was just a bad day. Previously a fan so will give it another try and hope it was a one off!

Outside it doesn’t seem like much, but it’s the food that makes all the difference. Menu is not too extensive, but enough that there’s something for everyone. We ordered 3 different breakfasts (chilli scramble, ruby’s stack and big breakfast) and they were all delicious and big enough even for an adult man to get full. Such a positive surprise for a neighbourhood cafe. Will definitely come back.

They brought out water... read more Group lunch to celebrate my wife's birthday. Large choice of fast food on the menu. Relaxed surroundings. Friendly engaging owner staff. They brought out water and bowl for a very excited puppy. We did not ask for it. Lovely personal touch. Burgers tasty filling. Tasty banana berry smoothly. Recommend venue for a casual, quick and filling lunch. Keep up the good work.

The owner was yelling at her staff, spea... read more We went to this ‘cafe’ for a family much and from the minute the order was taken, I knew there was something not right. The owner was yelling at her staff, speaking to them like rubbish and when we eventually received our coffees and shakes , they were cold and had a split everywhere. The food took for ages to come out and it was cold. It would seem that the owner, was such rude and nefarious person, that affected the quality of service. Don’t do it, it’s cheaper to go to Coco’s for lunch.

Whilst the coffee’s were ok we were were sorely disappointed with the scones. We think they were had been frozen, they certainly weren’t fresh, they were the most tiniest, shrivelled up excuse for scones I’d ever seen in my life. I hate to really criticise but I’m so annoyed. My sister makes better and she can’t cook. The cream was all air and the jam very run of the mill sweet stuff. These had not been displayed for a reason. I was so angry that we felt utterly ripped off by these scones. Coming here was a mistake and not good quality or value.

Ord... read more Been here a few times and enjoyed every time. Service always friendly. Great 'Small Café ' feel about the diner. Breakfasts are great. Eggs Benedict my fav. Order double shot if getting a large coffee. Always end up getting take aways with meal as everything looks delish and tastes great. Probably not the cheapest but quality, taste  and service are well worth it! Will definitely visit again, as the wife and I enjoy the 'homely feel ' of the place.

The food is consistently delicious and the option to order over the phone is very convenient, especially during busy breakfast and lunch times. The Eggs Benedict from Ruby's is my personal favorite and a definite winner.

With an hour to kill I nearly missed the sign but did a u-turn; to be rewarded with a great breakfast, nice setting with indoor and outdoor seating (dog friendly! , the friendliest service and some very, very tasty (home-baked brownies 'for the road '. Not in my usual geographic area but whenever I am near here again, I will definitely make a point to call in!

Been several times for lunch and never disappointed. Everything is homemade so is fresh and not pumped with ****. We have had the tuna pots which are so tasty and the salads to go with are delicious too, and plentiful! The kids have had the sausage rolls which they love as a treat. Had burgers and sarnies which are always great tasting and great sizes. Coffees are good too. All at a very reasonable price and a great little welcoming place, I would definitely recommend.
