Reviews summary
Ichirin stands out as a premier destination for authentic Japanese food in Perth. Patrons rave about the freshness of the sashimi and the exquisite bento boxes, noting generous portions and meticulous preparation. While some experiences with service varied, many appreciated the warmth and attentiveness of the staff, particularly during busier hours. Although the omakase menu has received mixed feedback, the overall quality of the dishes, coupled with a cozy ambiance, makes Ichirin a must-visit for anyone seeking an exceptional dining experience.

My favourite Japanese In the area. Really genuine service and friendly. Food is fresh and tasty. Takeaway menu is a little limited. I recommend done in for more options. View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Ichirin:
We tried the customized omakase menu. The seating was cozy but a bit cramped. The kitchen took up a significant portion of the restaurant. The salmon was tasty as expected. The broth with scallop-filled fried balls was incredibly flavorful. The tempura white fish Sang Choy Bau was unique with a tangy jelly accompaniment. The thinly sliced beef was also delicious. If you're a lover of sashimi (raw fish), you absolutely must try this place! It's not just limited to salmon and tuna; the selection is fresh and delicious. I've had the best quality sashimi here in Perth. However, I wouldn't recommend it for large families or groups due to the shop's limited size. Instead, consider taking your meal to go and enjoying it outside. There's a lovely garden in front where you can relax and savor Ichirin's lunch boxes or any of their meals.
This hidden gem has become our new favorite spot for both dining in and takeout. It's the best Japanese food I've ever had!
Fantastic place, fantastic food. If you are after a unique degustation (Japanese style), head to Ichirin. You won't regret it. Great service with no corkage fee! No, this is not a typo!
Food is delicious and well priced. Best Japanese in Perth. Only seats 12 though so if you have a group best to book.

Abendessen bei Ichirin war eine Explosion. Wir bestellten eine Auswahl an Gerichten, Agadeshi tofu, Kingfish sashimi, wagyu Rindfleisch, tempura squid. Wir bestellten the Lachsglocke...
I love love this surburban restaurant. The service is fantastic and the food is sensational. I'm so impressed. I tried to take a few weeks away...
The best Japanese restaurant in Perth. To be honest, I initially expected just a typical Japanese place for a light dinner and thought the prices were a bit high. However, once I tasted the food, the prices suddenly made sense. I ordered three dishes, and each one was perfect. I'm already looking forward to bringing my family or friends back for another visit.
We had the modified Omakase. Small tight seating. Kitchen is half of the restaurant square. Salmon was expected. The broth with scalops in fried balls was...
The Margaret River Beef Gozen Bento was, as always, fantastic. You get a little bit of everything, and it's all the best! At $42, the price is reasonable for what you receive. Parking is communal.
