Was Michael M at The Grange Eatery a mag?
Had Prix fixe menú if $39. Included appetizer, entree and dessert. Enjoyed entree of baked macaroni cheese. We split the entrees of beef and hen. Beef was great but hen was even better. Dessert was cheesecake, which I chose . Like the crisp graham crust. Also, service was phenomenal. View all feedback.
I found this restaurant during restaurant week, and I was blown away by the ribeye steak – it was incredible! The interior can be a bit crowded and noisy due to the number of patrons, but they also offer outdoor seating!
I appreciated the option of avocado toast since I wasn't in the mood for a large meal. It came with a hard-boiled egg, which I thought would have been better if it were soft-boiled. However, the balsamic reduction was delicious, and the thinly sliced radish added a nice touch. The fries were also excellent; I swapped them for home fries, and that was a great choice. My sister got the home fries with her pork eggs Benedict, but they didn't look crispy, and I prefer my potatoes crispy, so I was glad I chose the fries. She let me try a bite of her pork eggs Benedict, and it was delicious. My mom ordered an egg on toast, which came on a large slice of brioche, and she had a side of hollandaise sauce. My dad opted for the chicken and waffle sandwich, which was enormous! He really enjoyed it and finished the whole thing. We also got a side of bacon for the table, which was fantastic—super crispy with a nice hickory flavor. Overall, it’s a cute spot, but I was hoping for more menu options. My sister visits here for brunch regularly, and they offer bottomless drinks, though we didn't indulge this time. Next time I come, I’ll definitely try the bottomless option!

I've been coming to The Grange for about 3 yrs now. I've always had a great experience servers, bartenders, food, pandemic to go. Never a bad taste in my mouth. Today, unfortunately, I've hit the bump in the relationship where I have to speak up. I order a typical brunch steak and eggs, with a side salad, fries, and a rosé. As I sat next to four guys living their best Sunday brunch lives, I expected the same experience. My steak was well done; I ordered medium. The salad was well dressed, but there were a few wilted should have been thrown out leaves. The rosé was a close save recommended by my server, whom I've had several times on solo dates; a delish glass from Portugal. I had a window seat, ready to view all of Amsterdam Ave's best moments. I swatted several gnats and flies away from my fave and plate, and finally gave up as I yield to the gnat that landed on my glass of wine. Needless to say, I am ready for the check. It'll be a while, unfortunately, before I come back.
Bottomless brunch FTW. Steak and eggs counts, so I got to enjoy an embarrassment of Bellinis along with tender-cooked steak and perfectly poached eggs. They're busy, and service suffers a little, but that's the price of going to a great place. Practice patience and enjoy. I look forward to coming back, again and again.
