I haven't been to this restaurant in years, but it looks much better now. The bar is very well-equipped with a wide variety of drinks. The food seemed delicious, even though I didn't try it myself. There is a spacious garden area with plenty of tables. View all feedback.
What FergusChandler doesn't like about The Mustard Pot:
Excellent Sunday lunch but... The food was very good, the portions very generous, over generous in some cases hence my report of ultimate un-satisfaction. I asked for a "doggy bag ' /take away container for the un-consumed portion. At check out, after having settle the account... View all feedback.
Deciding where to have lunch in Leeds (not in the city center) is always a tough decision with so many great options available. With the weather being lovely,...
Avoid purchasing the steak at this restaurant! The local pub has a wonderful atmosphere, great beer, and friendly staff. I enjoyed the mussels, which were delicious and worth coming back for.
The Mustard Pot is a wonderful small pub, however, I am not a fan of their food. In my opinion, it does not compare to the high quality of food at other restaurants.
This restaurant is absolutely fantastic! The food was exceptional, and the service was top-notch even though it was a busy Sunday evening. I highly recommend booking a table for their Sunday roast - the ingredients are fresh and the portions are very generous. We ordered the pork dish and it was huge. The decor is simple yet stylish, and the atmosphere is lively (although quite loud). I also appreciated the thoughtful touch of complimentary emergency toiletries in the women's restroom. There is a large parking lot attached to the pub and a beautiful outdoor seating area as well.
I found the Sunday dinner at this restaurant to be overpriced and not worth it. I had visited three years ago and had a much better experience, so I'm not sure what has changed since then. I am giving it a rating of 3 because the portion sizes were generous and there was a decent amount of meat compared to other carveries. The staff and atmosphere were pleasant, and I would consider going back for a drink but not for the food. There was a lack of gravy, and I had to ask for more which was provided. The meal itself lacked flavor, and I ended up leaving a significant amount uneaten, which was disappointing considering the higher price compared to a standard Sunday lunch. The quick service of the meal suggests that most of it was likely pre-cooked and reheated. I believe more effort should be put into the preparation of the food to justify the price or reduce prices to better align with the quality of the dishes.
