What lizwP9079LL doesn't like about The Ings:
Contrary to the previous review. The previous owners provided an excellent choice of wine. The majority of it now is in small poor quality bottles. Unable to get a large glass of wine which is strange. The pub was always absolutely spotless but now seems shabby not as fresh as it was. Joe Irene kept an immaculate pub. Sad it's changed lots of regulars have moved on elsewhere View all feedback. What Melissa Ward likes about The Ings:
beautiful to get (too late) for quiz night but beautiful beer, roaring fire, courteous staff and I in nags at this weekend check chair was polished and shiny. that is it. thanks. sean and claire from approx. View all feedback.

read moreThe Ings, once a beloved pub with quality wine and immaculate cleanliness, has seen a decline since new ownership. Changes such as limited wine options, delayed opening times, lack of dog water, and rudeness from staff have disappointed regulars. Despite this, the pub still offers a wide variety of drinks, friendly service, community events, and a festive atmosphere. Visitors praise the warm welcome, customer service, well-kept beers, and beautiful Christmas decorations. However, the lack of food, no dogs inside, and a tatty playground may put some patrons off. Overall, The Ings remains a spot for beer lovers and community events seekers.
What a great pub, a real one in a residential area. I'd like to know it's history. beautiful bar staff also and really well kept beer
