eat exceptional, but a long waiting period between the curses. personal courtesy and recognized, we waited one because, but still added 10% service fees for the bill when we were clearly unhappy View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Beehive X Thorner:
eating was a bad quality. the bratkartoffels were over cooked, only sharp and almost no potatoes inside. the Yorkshire pudding is over. the cauliflower cheese, a dish was delicious and the other looked like it had come from the previous Sunday. celeriac wellington was under the average, but those who had the bark had said was very nice. not enough force and took long to come when asked. jess, the waitress was nice. t... We had no complaints about the meal at all. The scotch eggs were home made and really delicious and perfectly cooked. Our roast beef was tender and well presented and a very good choice of vegetables . The interior and exterior could perhaps do with a bit of TLC . All in all though a good experience with very friendly staff.
Food service was very good, but lacking any ambiance maybe some background music would have made the experience more welcoming
Second time we've been since new owners took over and we weren't disappointed. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious (especially the truffle fries) Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
Worst place we have ever dined out at. Walked out after 1 hour and 30 minutes of waiting for our food. The drinks were flat and the service is by far the worst service we have ever experienced, not to mention half of the menu was out of stock. The place needs closing down or perhaps new owners and staff who care about their jobs rather than the careless people who work there. If only there was an option for 0 stars.
Usually fantastic not very good yesterday too long waiting for the food service not the usual high standard
