The gravy was already poured on, rather than being served on the side, which I would have preferred. The beef was of good quality, though I wish it had been cooked a bit less for my taste. My friend enjoyed his pork but wished there were more crackling. The vegetables were fine, though I would have preferred broccoli over cauliflower. Overall, The Adelphi offers a decent Sunday dinner option, but for someone who has experienced the best homemade meals, it may not entirely measure up. However, if you're looking for a standard Sunday roast in a cozy setting, I would still recommend giving it a try.

It still has many original features, including a beautiful mosaic entrance floor and old-time trim. We only had drinks this time, so I can't comment on the food. But based on what I saw, we will definitely be back to try it out. The prices are reasonable and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Thank you for a great experience.

It was a bit of a scramble to find a place for a Sunday roast last minute, but we were able to secure a booking here. The Sunday roast was amazing. I wish you could see the bratkartoffels in my photo, they were perfect. Finally, a place that knows how to fry their food properly! I love this pub, it's so cozy with different rooms to choose from. We sat in one with a sweet little fireplace.
