What Dufeybear dislikes about Mill Kitchen:
Lovely building/location. All the staff seemed bored with answering any questions, concerning seating or menu items or specials. Sandwiches were mainly bread. Ridiculous filling/bread ratio. Bacon and sausages were tasty, but make sure you buy two sandwiches…then throw away half the sourdough slabs. Onion bhaji sandwich had the same problems, aswell as bhaji being burnt to a crisp. I normally give feedback, but could... View all feedback.

Lovely venue. Good menu, but not extensive. Prices are a tad expensive. Very tasty food, although some portions quite small, such as the bacon.

There are many coffee shops in the area but for an Oat Latte there is no better place in my opinion. The same goes for their breakfast menu. The bacon sandwich in particular is the tastiest I’ve ever had! The cakes and loaves are also outstanding quality. I appreciate the main menu isn’t the cheapest around but it is quality food at good value. Whether grabbing a coffee to go or bringing the whole family for a sit down meal, it is my favourite place to visit. It has plenty seating inside and out, accessible for wheelchairs and prams, cool contemporary decor and all staff are very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended

We had a disappointing experience at the restaurant during breakfast today. The bread was extremely tough to eat, the grilled tomato was hard and undercooked, and the bacon was mostly fat. We were seated at the only available table near the door, causing us to be disturbed by customers entering and leaving. The cold and drafty weather outside made it uncomfortable, and we felt like we were being watched by waiting customers while we ate. Overall, the atmosphere, breakfast quality, and price point did not meet our expectations. It is unfortunate because we have had positive experiences with the food and seating in the past.

We went to this restaurant for breakfast and were impressed by the unique brunch menu. We decided to try the Kimchee pancakes and hash potatoes, both of which were delicious. The Kimchee pancakes were especially amazing! We enjoyed them so much that we drove over an hour to come back and have them again for breakfast on another weekend. The other dishes we tried were also tasty, with a bit of a spicy kick that we enjoyed. The restaurant has a charming rustic atmosphere and is clearly popular, as it was quite busy. It's a great spot to sit outside and enjoy a drink in the sunshine. Farsley is a nice area to explore for a few hours, with its old mill, craft industries, and art galleries - definitely worth a visit if you're into that sort of thing.
