The restaurant has been updated since my last visit, and it looks like there’s a new menu, possibly under new management. I was impressed by the variety of options available, and the steak I ordered was excellent. I will definitely return; it reminds me of the wonderful large country pub it used to be, with fantastic food. View all feedback.

This was our second visit, and we won't be returning. The food was unacceptable—dry, shriveled potatoes, chicken, and vegetables that I wouldn't even feed to a dog. View all feedback.
I had a fantastic experience at Fox and Grapes. It's a wonderful place to stop for a meal, and the food and drinks were outstanding. We ordered the signature sharing platter and the house red wine, both of which were excellent. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making our visit even more enjoyable. I highly recommend it! Very welcoming staff, who delivered good service. Lovely log fire and nicely decorated for Xmas. Set menu was good value but very limited choices. The quality was good and generous portion sizes. Main menu seemed quite pricey for simple pub grub. Other restaurants nearby offer more interesting food options for the same kind of price.
