Was Richard Ford at Crafthouse a mag?
A really pleasant experience in an iconic location high above the streets of Leeds. The menu is varied and reasonably priced, and the service very attentive and helpful. My only criticism would be that it would be nice to see a more extensive wine list with a wider choice of affordable wines. View all feedback.
What Cheryl Beebe dislikes about Crafthouse:
We went for my friend’s birthday and the service wasn’t great. The starters were good, we got focaccia and scallops. The steak that we had was not good at all. One of us had medium rare and it was definitely rare. Another one of us had well done and it was still slightly pink. We didn’t complain as we overheard the waitress say that it was busy and we couldn’t really get anyone’s attention so we just ate as much as w... View all feedback.

Eating, service and ambiente were great. the doughnut with the lobster bisque was very special. (disappointed that the leek served with the healbutt, was so fibrous that I could not cut it or eat it) would recommend the dessert sharing plate.
The best restaurant I was to photograph perfect location with a more beautiful view. personal, where excellent the feeling was especially to eat on my birthday was to die, will be again in leeds every time!
This is the second time we have been to Crafthouse, the first time having been for an afternoon tea with our family visiting from Taiwan. The food was spectacular, rich deep flavours (porcini veloute, mmmmm... and amazingly tender beef. Even the children's menu was prepared beautifully and our little boy thoroughly enjoyed it. We had the pleasure of being waited on by one of the assistant managers. We were impressed by his prompt, attentive and discreet service style and his knowledge of the food and wine. We thought that the experience was excellent value for money and we had a delightful evening.
God knows why this has a 3.6 star rating... the food and service was amazing!! I’d highly recommend it to anyone for a meal in Leeds and I’ll be returning with family very soon!! X
Crafthouse restaurant in Leeds offers a fantastic dining experience with delicious food and wonderful service. The staff is welcoming and attentive, making guests feel special and cared for. The menu is great with faultless execution, quality ingredients, and superb presentation. The atmosphere is lovely, perfect for celebrating special occasions. While slightly more expensive than other options, the food quality and overall experience make it worth it. The rooftop terrace provides a beautiful setting, and the complimentary treats and excellent service add to the dining experience. Highly recommended for those looking for a special meal in a stunning setting.

Lovely ambience and great food. We had the best waiter, Seb. Very knowledgeable, very helpful and polite. Food was presented well and the flavours were stunning
Delicious food and great service, all of the staff were so friendly and we really enjoyed the overall experience

We didn’t complain as we overheard the waitress say that it was busy and we couldn’t really get anyone’s attention so we just ate as much as we can of it. The cocktails and mocktails were really nice though. I’d probably only recommend it for drinks and starters, our main was not good and I’d probably recommend elsewhere for the price we paid.

Big party. All Sunday lunch options still available. Alesha was amazing. Wine was also lovely and so much choice.
Went for afternoon tea with a voucher from our birthday. They made us feel like we was second best to paying customers on the day. Only asked us if we wanted tap water with our food. When we asked for a warm drink we was waiting ages. The food was very tasteless. Totally left to feel ignored and ripped off. Would 100% not go back for afternoon tea. I’ve bought better at supermarkets.
This was an amazing night! Can’t fault the service, it was absolutely amazing! I went for my birthday and got free processo and a happy birthday pudding. Would highly recommend.
Treated to afternoon tea by my daughter. We were impressed with the welcome the friendly service. Our afternoon tea was very good, with a very tasty selection of savouries. The small fancy cakes looked lovely were enjoyable, just the right size tho the Madeleines were a rather plain offering. There was one thing which prevented this being a 5* review, and that was the scones, which were rock hard very dry. These should be light fluffy. I would suggest that this element of the afternoon tea could do with improvement, as it was the only thing which disappointed slightly spoilt it for us. Otherwise , very good.
It should be nicer than it is The place is beautiful and service really good. However the food is very mis matched. Prawns for starters spicy which is great but misses that creamy Marie Rose flavour. Chicken was ever so slightly dry, but the smoked cheddar croquette promised so much but was a bit tasteless. Sorry, I really wanted to like this but it just wasn’t that great.

We had a fantastic meal at this restaurant yesterday evening. The service was exceptional and the food was delicious from beginning to end. A special shoutout to our waitress, Iris, who went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. We are looking forward to our next visit!
Great afternoon at the Craft House, Seb our waiter was fantastic as were the other staff, I would highly recommend a visit.
I celebrated my 21st birthday in the private dining room at this restaurant, and I was impressed by the excellent service and atmosphere of the place. The food was amazing and all of the staff were very attentive. We were able to use an aux cord to play our own music, felt well taken care of, and the courses were served promptly. Gabriela was extremely kind in organizing the meal, answered any questions or concerns we had, and was extremely accommodating to any last-minute changes. I would highly recommend this restaurant, as there were no complaints whatsoever about the food or service.
We had a delightful afternoon tea in a lovely setting. Our waitress was friendly and provided excellent service. The food was delicious. Highly recommend.
Booked table for family of 6 for dinner on a Saturday evening. Received warm welcome on arrival, fabulous ambience vibe. Our waiter Seb was super attentive friendly as were all the staff, and the food was delicious from starters to desserts. Sticky toffee pudding was amazing. Overall good value and would definitely visit again.
