Description

Despite mixed reviews, this centrally located restaurant offers a diverse array of dining options, from afternoon tea to hearty mains. Some patrons praise the delicious meals and polite service, while others criticize the slow service and lackluster portions. Prices may be on the higher side, but the atmosphere seems cozy and welcoming. Overall, it may be worth a try for those looking for a convenient spot for a meal or drinks, but be prepared for potential inconsistencies in both service and quality.

£15.50 for two glasses of house wine , dearest drinks in the country, don’t bother go London instead this whole place is a rip off !!!!!!! All the surrounding pubs and bars are equally expensive complete rip off , be warned.

OMG we had afternoon tea today here and I have to say it was the worst I have ever been to, sandwiches were in stale bread, egg mayonnaise was warm, took ages to come out, cream was out of a bottle, very poor would not recommend and I certainly will not be returning J

The menu in the bar has changed. Gone are the baguettes, nachos, pizzas etc and instead there are overpriced poncy sounding nibbles like crostinis (tiny) and under sized fish cakes. I wouldn’t bother eating here again. If I want a fancy restaurant experience then I’d go to one of the nice restaurants in the centre, definitely not here for just a mid week catch up with friends

Booked an afternoon tea and were pretty much the only people in the place so atmosphere was severely lacking. Had gone using a two for one voucher which was just as well as the afternoon tea was disappointing. The scones were nice enough but very dry and crumbly, the sandwiches were ok, the mini quiche was very dry but the chocolate fondant was very nice. If it hadn't have been an offer, we'd have been very unhappy.
