Was Lollyfg at Cosmopolitan a mag?
I purchased a meal deal from Groupon and brought my daughter along. The food was delicious and well presented. I would definitely come back again. It is conveniently located near Leeds station. View all feedback.
What GreatDaines dislikes about Cosmopolitan:
We bobbed in a couple of times for cocktails which had a good offer on. Bar staff are wonderful and the hotel seemed friendly and clean. Ideal location for parties and groups to get to bars and shops. Close to train station too. We did not stay but would look to on our next trio up north. View all feedback.
£15.50 for two glasses of house wine , dearest drinks in the country, don’t bother go London instead this whole place is a rip off !!!!!!! All the surrounding pubs and bars are equally expensive complete rip off , be warned.
We had our staff christmas party here on arrival disponited to see no bar in the room or toilet you had to walk a full lenth of a corridor into reception then to the main bar or toilets also the room was very cold if we knew there was no bar we would not have booked The food was nice but cold by the time it got to us and the waitress became rude when she did not have a enough desert saying we orderded wrong good job we had a list of who orderded what she went to see the chef and got more the barstaff where friendly but a constant wait for glasses they kept running out wont return for a christmas again on a positive note the DJ was good .
OMG we had afternoon tea today here and I have to say it was the worst I have ever been to, sandwiches were in stale bread, egg mayonnaise was warm, took ages to come out, cream was out of a bottle, very poor would not recommend and I certainly will not be returning J
The menu in the bar has changed. Gone are the baguettes, nachos, pizzas etc and instead there are overpriced poncy sounding nibbles like crostinis (tiny) and under sized fish cakes. I wouldn’t bother eating here again. If I want a fancy restaurant experience then I’d go to one of the nice restaurants in the centre, definitely not here for just a mid week catch up with friends
Booked an afternoon tea and were pretty much the only people in the place so atmosphere was severely lacking. Had gone using a two for one voucher which was just as well as the afternoon tea was disappointing. The scones were nice enough but very dry and crumbly, the sandwiches were ok, the mini quiche was very dry but the chocolate fondant was very nice. If it hadn't have been an offer, we'd have been very unhappy.
