Contribute FeedbackCaffé Nero at Boar Lane offers a mixed experience, reflecting a blend of vibrant ambiance and varying service quality. While many patrons enjoy the quality coffee and comfortable seating, instances of rude staff and poor service have marred visits. Some customers have reported issues with incorrect orders and unresponsive team members, leading to dissatisfaction. However, others appreciate the café's reliability and the skills of dedicated baristas, highlighting the appealing decor and convenient location for travelers and locals alike. Overall, Caffé Nero stands out for its quality drinks but could benefit from more consistent customer service.
Friend and I visited a restaurant in Leeds after not being able to find a Costa nearby. We decided to stop here instead and I ordered a honey oat latte, which was delicious. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive - one even helped me with a small injury by cleaning and bandaging it. The only downside was the blocked toilet, but they promptly took care of the issue once reported.
Before Christmas, a group of friends and I went to this restaurant for lunch and had a terrible experience with a staff member who had short brown hair and glasses. I was shocked by how rude she was. One of my friends ordered a panini that was supposed to be toasted, but when it arrived, the cheese was not melted. When she asked for it to be reheated, the staff member reacted rudely, snatched the plate, and made a scene about reheating the sandwich. I requested a vegan hot chocolate but was given a vegan mocha instead. When I asked for what I had ordered, the staff member reacted similarly. She was also seen making faces at customers' orders and being rude to everyone, including her colleagues. The restaurant was not even busy, with only a group of 3 and about 6 other customers in the cafe. I will not be returning, and I doubt anyone else who was there that day will be either.
I enjoy the coffee from Cafe Nero, but this specific store is frustrating. Depending on who is working, you might get a coffee at 6:30am or be ignored by a rude staff member. The manners and customer service are poor.
I used to meet friends for coffee here regularly. It's a convenient location for the railway station. Like other Nero branches, they no longer accept cash, so I'm now an ex customer :
Walking down Boar Lane my twin brother Stephen and I decided to drop into this Caffe Nero outlet and what a great find. A superb Caffe Nero outlet, nice decor and furnishings including plenty of seating options spread throughout this cafe both inside and outside looking out onto the busy and bustling Boar Lane. We were here on a Monday afternoon, we sat outside and ordered a cappuccino coffee each, served steaming hot, we just kicked back, chilled out and planned out the day ahead while sipping our coffee's. I am a big fan of Caffé Nero ,enjoy their coffee and their cappuccino is a particular favourite of mine, from the first sip till the last sup you can tell they use quality ingredients in their coffee and take great pride in the coffee they serve in this outlet. We really enjoyed our coffee's in here before we moved on and for a first time visit to here we had a great time. This Caffe Nero is easy to locate along Boar Lane. Opening hours are; Monday to Friday, 7am till 6pm. Saturday, 8am till 6 30pm. Sunday, 8am till 5.30pm. A wonderful Caffe Nero, most definitely well worth checking out if you're in the area.
