What pinks doesn't like about Kuala Lumpur Cafe:
Veganised versions of all the best curries. The decor and space is rustic/not fancy. Inc electrical socket hanging off the wall where we sat. Spotted the toilet 1 second into entering as the door was wide open. The group behind were loud which wasn't the restaurant fault. As no music to blur out the other people's chit chat. It's got about 5 tables in the main area so suggest booking. Parking tricky and we ended up w... View all feedback.
First visit and what a fantastic experience it was. 3 different starters selected and 4 netzen between 4 of us. more than enough to eat and the quality and taste of the food was really excellent. if I had not lived 80 miles away, I would definitely be with the very pleasant staff on the first name. a visit is worth sure if they eat good delicious well cooked
Very good restaurant with a good choice for vegan or gluten-free option for example. good staff too!
Wonderful place and the food was unbelievably delicious.
Stopped here when we were on a trip to Leeds and wanted to have Malaysian for dinner. I must say this is Authentic Malaysian food. Ordered satay, nasi lemak, roti canai and beef rendang. I must say, the rendang was too good, Cooked perfectly. Generally rendang is not cooked well in restaurants because it takes time and restaurants do find shortcuts but here, the rendang was authentic and tasted amazing. The quantity of satay and the peanut sauce was generous. The nasi lemak was good as other dishes. The prices are reasonable. This is a small cozy cafe. There is free parking by the Bennet road. The service was good.
This was my third time at KL Cafe restaurant, and yet again it did not disappoint. I went for dinner for my birthday meal last night and had a truly lovely time, we had the whole upstairs to ourselves and it really did feel like I had hired out the restaurant. Everyone enjoyed there food and said the atmosphere was lovely, the waitress even turned on the fairy lights for us which added a level of ambience that was truly comforting. The staff as always were so kind, accommodating and simply very sweet-mannered. I think this restaurant is such a hidden gem that most people do not know about, and I think many people lack the experience of Malaysian food, which is truly to die for! Malaysia has such a rich culture, and having travelled to Kuala Lumpur in the summer, I can confidently say that this restaurant does their cuisine the justice it deserves. If you are looking to try something new and explosive with flavour, then give this restaurant a visit and help out a small family owned business!
