Was Fishy at Oxford Yard a mag?
My poached eggs were slightly over cooked. I normally only have one piece of toast but most places gives you two. So I didn’t waste any this time although other people might find the poached eggs on toast a bit light. But the chicken waffles looked amazing. Iced coffee very funky looking. Decent coffee but was given 2 slices of toast stale and so hard it was impossible to cut, hurt my hand even trying. Male servers inexperienced and careless. Female server was very kind and actually did her job! After being ignored by male servers for 30 minutes a wonderful lady came and asked me how my meal was and took my plate. The coffees they make are well priced, and well done - never taste burnt, and always hit the right spots for flavour. Decent breakfast place, a bit pricey for what you get. The vege big breakfast is a solid meal with poached eggs and basic but well done beans + spinach. The pumpkin sauce it came with was amazing. The chickpea patty is nice but not exciting. Disappointed by the masala chai latte - was like milk with tea and dust.
Service here is very fast, waitress not very friendly though. ordered poached eggs and friend ordered eggs benedict. poached eggs very cheap at $9! was quite small with only one piece of toast so price is justified. eggs were poached perfectly! friend said their food was nice, but weren't a fan of the hollandaise sauce. overall a nice place to catch up with friends and would definitely recommend.
Came here, unplanned, for brunch with my friends on Sunday. Yummy food and yummy drinks. A lot to choose from on the menu. I ordered the Yardy Beef Burger, and an Ice Mocha. Would definitely come back again.
I enjoyed the vegan big breakfast, it had a good variety of ingredients in it and the coffee was creamy and smooth.
Came in for a quick coffee and snack. Coffee was great, and came out very quickly. We had the morning booster muffin, which was also very nice very tasty, not too sweet
