When we finally sat down, we had to... read more We made a reservation for a family birthday dinner at 6 p.m. two weeks in advance. Upon our arrival, our table wasn't ready. When we finally sat down, we had to ask the waitress to clear away a stack of menus cluttering our table. After receiving our drinks, we waited quite a while for our starters, but once they arrived, we all enjoyed them. However, after an hour and a half, our main courses still hadn’t come out, and our young children were starting to get hungry. The waitstaff seemed disengaged, standing at the bar with their backs to us, seemingly oblivious to our wait time. When one of the waitresses eventually went to the kitchen to check on our order, we decided we had been patient enough and asked for the bill instead. The manager was dissatisfied with our decision, claiming that customers usually enjoy a leisurely pace between courses. Overall, we found the staff to be inattentive and disorganized. In fact, people seated next to us arrived after us, yet finished their meal and left before our main courses even arrived. We won’t be rushing back to dine here again. Overall rating: Food: 3, Service: 1, Atmosphere: 3.

I loved t... read more I recently ate at Antep Turkish Kitchen, and it was great! Everything tasted amazing. The portions were large, so you really get a lot for your money. I loved the special bread; it was warm and delicious. The starters were also really good and made me excited for the main meal. The service was fantastic. The staff was friendly and always helpful. I highly recommend Antep Turkish Kitchen if you want to try tasty Turkish food. I can’t wait to go back!

Last night was possible one of our worst dining experience... read more Last night 7 of us attended Antep for a family celebration. We have been before and it has been fine. Last night was possible one of our worst dining experiences ever. We waited 1 3/4 hours for our meals to appear, after asking several times What is going on? When meals were eventually delivered they were cold and delivered at different times, with some of us finished eating before others had been served. Meat and rice, slung on a plate with salad appearing 15 minutes later. I think they are concentrating too much on delivery services and not paying attention to the restaurant. Awful experience, which of course we will never repeat…….and they initially overcharged us on the bill though once we spotted it, it was sorted. We did not leave any tip for the waiting staff, which was a pity as they are not to blame for the bad service, and less than average food and presentation……..but somebody is.
