I think next time I'll stop being lazy and look for something e... read more I frequent this restaurant on every trip out of Edmonton because it's in the hotel where I stay. I think next time I'll stop being lazy and look for something else. I started asking what kind of dark beer they have like a porter or stout. The waiter explains that they don't have any Guinness but starts rattling off some domestic laggers. I settled on a Scottish ale. No sooner than I take my first drink, he walked by carrying a couple of dark beers past my table. I ordered a T-bone which they were also out of so had the sirloin instead. The steak was kinda tough and not a lot of flavor. The rice pilaf and vegetables were also devoid of flavor. There was a weird syrup on the side of the plate that didn't do anything for the meal itself other than for presentation. The Cesar salad was good though.

The food displayed like art had choices... read more Was treated like royalty on Mothers Day at this amazing brunch. Started off with a refreshing champagne or orange juice. The food displayed like art had choices from cold salads, seafood and cheese to the hot buffet with several breakfast and lunch choices. The omelette station, pancake station and carving station showed the high quality of this buffet. The dessert table with a chocolate fountain was a highlight for children and adults. The music and balloon maker added that extra fun for the whole room! Great food, great people for a lovely Mothers Day.

Everything was cooked perfectly, delicious, and served in generous portions. We chose this restaurant because it is within walking distance of our Nisku Hotel, and we were impressed with the menu and value. It turned out to be one of the best meals of our trip. The restaurant was quiet and provided a perfect setting for our visit.

It was cooked perfectly and was a good value for the quality of Alberta meat. The server asked if I wanted dessert, but I declined, saying I wouldn't need another steak. She thought I was joking, but I was serious.
