First time dining at Fatty’s and it will definitely not be my last. Our server Michele (one L) was exceptional. The food was beyond our expectations absolutely incredible. We had two different Father’s Day weekend specials. The margaritas oh my goodness they were great, served in a frosted glass and no skimping on the Jose. Top notch food and service. What Godscape Helps doesn't like about Fatty's Taphouse:
Children's food was not good, kids couldn't pallet dry chicken tenders and a really hard bun on the burger. Asked dry rub only on a rack of ribs. Had to turn around 2 orders of bbq sauced racks. Finally got my food as ordered an hr later and they were glazed in sugar base. Not satisfied with much here. Only 2 servers working so everything lacked urgency. Definitely not recommending this spot. View all feedback.
FANTASTIC seafood spot! We got oysters on the half shell, steamed shrimp, and crab soup plus some sides and everything was spot-on. It was carry out, but the staff I interacted with were all very friendly and it seemed like a nice spot to eat-in.
I decided to give the restaurant another chance and was pleased to find that the food was fabulous. I particularly enjoyed the fries. The IPA selection had improved and the staff were still delightful. I have raised my rating by 1 star and will definitely be back. Thank you.
The food was improved this time. I have been a regular customer for years, and I was glad that it wasn't overly salty this time. The only problem was that my oyster basket was disappointing, so I had to send it back.
This restaurant has become our favorite spot! You have to try the gumbo and steam pots. We tried the dollar oysters and they were delicious. We love the variety of beers on the wall and the service is excellent.
The Fatty's burger was bland and overcooked. The server wrote down the wrong order for my wife and proceeded to charge us for the order she wrote down, $20+ price difference. The server was hard to find. The beer system was neat, but was fairly flat and warm. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
