The pizza is delicious and the stromboli is outstanding. The service has always been top-notch during my 5 years of dining here. This is the best pizzeria in the city! View all feedback.
What Joy Follet doesn't like about La Delizia Pizza:
Upon entering the restaurant, we were not greeted and instead stared at by the two individuals at the front. I mentioned that it was our first time there, but received no response. If you are looking for good communication from the staff, this is not the place. We ordered a slice of margherita pizza and an extra-large pizza half pepperoni, half cheese. The pizza was decent, but the service was lacking. They asked for... View all feedback.
Been here a few times and I gotta say, Im a big fan. The sicilian is by far my favorite pizza in town.
I frequently get garlic knots here, at one point at least twice a week. Most places act rude when I place a takeout order for a single item like that, but they are incredibly polite and always have a smile. My order is always ready on time, always fresh, and always delicious. I'm pretty sure at this point they know me as the garlic knots guy, because I don't even have to tell them my order they just hand me my garlic knots! I can not express how much I love this place and appreciate the effort they put into the food and service. The space is also quite clean, which is practically unheard of for a pizza place. If you live in the area and are tired of domino's, Pizza Hut, etc., go here! You will not regret it.
Stopped for lunch and ended up getting a large meat pizza and a antipasto salad. We'll get 3 meals out of this at least. The owner greeted us while he was making a pizza. He recognizes his regulars. Relaxing inside tables and decor. We visit at least once a month.
The appetizers were acceptable. Had the mozzarella sticks and garlic knots. The pizza on the other hand was inedible. I took a bite and promptly spit it out. My room was still dark so it’s on me for not checking the pizza before taking a bite and my fault for not checking the quality upon pick up. The artichokes were old, so old they had gone grey. The spinach was the frozen variety of which any veggie lover knows is a last resort. The broccoli was old and also a touch mushy which leads me to think it had also been frozen. So a $30 pizza was thrown straight into the trash. It was an unfortunate lesson. I can understand prices going up and I can certainly accept it but quality going down and prices increasing isn’t acceptable. The two stars are that at least the mozzarella sticks were okay.
It's been a few years since we last ordered pizza here. Pizza here is not inexpensive, but when you compare the quality of La Delizia pizza to the assembly line pizza from others, the others just don't measure up to La Delizia. Wonderful flavor, plenty of toppings, and wonderful on time service. We're going to be back!
