The menu was not ex... read more We dropped in to The Bear for Saturday lunch as research indicated it was dog friendly. Never been before but was very pleasently surprised. The menu was not extensive, but the choices were lovely. Starter items were hard to choose as we would have eaten all of it! Main plates were up-market pub regulars, but again, high quality and well presented. We could not get as far as desserts! Would I eat here again? Yes, very much so. It may become a bit of a regular as we meet up with friends on the basis of it being a halfway point. The beer choices were also pretty good, but as we were driving we could not do them justice!

Sahin was very hospitable, welcoming and Sasha was amazing and she looked after us the whole time. The food was equally lovely and flavoursome. A top notch Sunday roast
