This restaurant is very conveniently located on the main route to Point Pelee National Park. We arrived at 5:00 pm without a reservation but within a 1/2 hour there was a waiting line to get in. I believe it is best to have a reservation. I enjoyed a chicken ceasar wrap with nice roasted chicken and bacon. My husband ordered the Fisherman's Platter which featured frogs legs, perch and fish. What Oliver Piña doesn't like about Paula's Fish Place:
We've often had lunch here after a morning at Pelee. Service can be slow or fast, just sit and watch the bird feeders in the garden to kill the time. It's no longer the closest eatery to the park, just the second. Food is good, so despite any shortcomings it's probably worth a visit. View all feedback.
Well worth the drive - the place was clean - choice of indoor or outdoor seating - we chose to sit inside Wait staff was super friendly and knowledgable.
In my experience there, they appeared to be very understaffed.
Good local restaurant. Grilled cod was very tasty. The staff was helpful and pleasant.
Best perch dinner we had in all of Essex Co.The chicken rice soup was home made and delicious. The food and the service was excellent.
