What a delightful place just before you get to Point Pelee Park, the very southern part of Canada on Lake Erie. There were four of us, our friends had enjoyed the restaurant before so we decided to go and try it. The setting is great, across the street from the lake but from the outdoor dining area you have a view of beautiful gardens full of colour with the lake in the background. The setting was charmingly outdoor, open yet cozy with trellis ceiling covered by Trumpet Vines with big yellow flowers. The menu has everything anyone would want but the specialty is Perch and Pickerel, which we all ordered. It came with fries or mashed potatoes or rice with coleslaw. The wine list had a reasonable selection of local Point Pelee wines and others. The Point Pelee Pinot Grigio was light, refreshing with a bouquet of flowers, very summery. The fish was exquisite, the Perch was light and delicate done is a very light batter, as in very light. The Pickerel was solid, light and also done in a light batter. For dessert we all chose the Coconut Cream Pie, a wonderful top off to a great meal.Highly Recommended for an enjoyable lunch or dinner, very friendly and inexpensive.

Should the staff be walking through the dining area with a large pail of garbage?

I had heard so much about this place that we decided to give it a shot. I ordered the halibut and chip for 25.99, and my husband ordered the special that night, perch & pick for 24.99. We also had drinks, I ordered a strawberry/banana smoothie the alcoholic version, and they did have it... kind of disappointing since it's strawberry season around here right now.... It was very good, the price is a little high. The entertainment we could have done without, she can play the keyboard but her signing not so much. No one greeted us, but a sign said let your server know you're here, well we don't have a server yet.. Maybe the owner should be around more to help out. Overall good food
