Over increase o... read more Almost had a heart attack today when I came for my usual favorite, the piece perch cone...it used to be and now it is you lost your damn minds?! Over increase on a single menu item in just one year?! What...a shame, good luck with that. Amazing food, but I wonder how many people can stomach your new prices.

The food was good, not great. The prices were hefty for simple fish and chips. A busy place with long lines and long wait. My wife and myself have been going to Birdie's Perch Bus for a few years now and it is the No. Perch Dinner anywhere with the best cooked Perch to perfection, t... read more My wife and myself have been going to Birdie's Perch Bus for a few years now and it is the No. Perch Dinner anywhere with the best cooked Perch to perfection, their Special Perch Sauce which is fantastic and the best fries anywhere. Birdie's...had a late opening this year and we didn't get to go there as many times as we liked from Windsor but we decided to go again today October because it will be closing on November and we are dealing with the weather. We had another great Perch Dinner today for the last time till it opens up in the Spring, so it is going to be a long , long Winter before we can once again enjoy the No. Perch Dinner anywhere.

I also tried the Perch Tacos expensive but very tasty. Really nice people and a nice little patio. Probably a better place when they solve their ice cream supply issues apparently they had real hard ice cream at one point. Certainly a local landmark. Really fun. And a good soundtrack my friend was dancing!

We waited a half an hour in line to order in the degree heat and then and a... read more Hello all, this was our first time to Birdies Perch and must say prob won’t go back. We waited a half an hour in line to order in the degree heat and then and additional hour for our food. This is unacceptable! For a...place that seems to be frequently busy you would think they would be a more streamline operation. They had to stop taking orders to catch up on tables waiting for food. Why is this ? It’s fish and chips ! One of the quickest things to deep fry, and yes I have worked at a restaurant for many years and this is the longest wait at a restaurant I have ever encountered. Josie however was a lovely staff member and very apologetic, and did offer us complimentary ice cream. However in this case how far does and apology go? The one good compliment that I will freely give is that the birdies sauce is fabulous and should be available is bottles to buy! Amazing sauce ! Photo below is what I waited an hour and a half to get.
