This pub is fantastic and perfectly located. The prices are reasonable, and the food is great. The fish and chips are well-prepared, with a delicious batter, and the chips are just right. The club sandwich is well-made and enjoyable. The view from the outdoor seating is delightful—it's definitely worth a visit just for the scenery! View all feedback.
We rocked up on burger night (Wednesdays), so though I was initially thinking steak it swung to burger after seeing the menu and I was not disappointed. I'm a huge burger fan but big burgers aren't always constructed with the right bun to patty/extras ratios. Thankfully this one was fantastic, big brioche bun to complement the two patties, bacon, brie and red onion jam, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Staff are friendly and service was good, though could have done with a staff member to swat wasps!
Best ever fish n chips, very friendly and parked up for night in camper van. Session ale was cracking
Juicy burger, cold beer and amazing view from her pub garden. in any case back!
Fabulous veggie Sunday roast managed to squeeze us in for an unplanned visit. Great engagement from management despite being busy we were made to feel very welcome. Thank you so much I really enjoyed it.
This pub/restaurant has incredible potential. I visited at the end of January, so we stayed indoors, but the building itself is charming. I had dinner with my sister, whom I hadn't seen in a long time, and we ended up spending nearly five hours there catching up. The staff were incredibly friendly and made sure we were comfortable throughout our visit. The food was excellent, and the service was great. We spent just over £50 for two, which included a shared dessert, some drinks, and coffees, making it a fantastic value for the quality we received.
