I've been coming here for years and love this place. Even on race days they open at the crack of before dawn so people can get their coffee or whatever and the place across the street has a line out the door. They make excellent smoothies for a hot day and the tamales are excellent also.Ignore the 1 star reviews from the hipster/millenials about overpriced ice cream. It's Leadville and EVERYTHING costs more because y... View all feedback.
What Abigail B doesn't like about D 'love Gourmet Coffee 'n ' Ice Cream:
Came in with my family and ordered breakfast and coffee. We spent $50 and my lid was not secure and half of my coffee spilled. My sister was not a fan of the coffee so she went to order a smoothie instead. The lady rolled her eyes at her and said give me a sec. Then walked away started helping the only other person in their besides us. Not to mention that man asked her if they had muffins and when he turned to look a... View all feedback.
This cozy spot serves ice cream, coffee, churros, shakes, malts, and more. The highlight for us was the huckleberry ice cream! I've never encountered it south of Wyoming, so we were thrilled to find it here.
Oh my gosh!!! After your hike, you need to stop by this place. The cappuccino hot fudge shake is honestly one of the best things I've ever tasted. Hats off to the chef!
What a find! While we were in Leadville with our kids who were craving ice cream, we discovered this place. They offered a baby cone, which was just the right size for little ones! They also had chocolate-dipped cheesecake on a stick, which is pretty unique and fun! Additionally, their boba was absolutely delicious. I had seen some reviews mentioning poor service, but that was not my experience at all. We had a fantastic time!
Didn’t know I was craving a classic pretzel with cheese until I walked by. Nostalgic and delicious. It was definitely on the pricier side but worth it
We came in and got breakfast and coffee spent about 50$. My little sister didn’t really like her coffee so she wanted to order a smoothie. She asked the lady for a smoothie she rolled her eyes and said “give me a sec.” Keep in mind we are the only people in there besides one gentleman who walked in while we were eating. He asked if they had any muffins etc before he had saw the display and the lady literally rolled her eyes at him too…. She helped him and then my little sister is still standing there waiting for her smoothie and she looks at her and says “did you need something..” my sister said “yeah… my smoothie… “ and then she rang her up and it was $4 more than what the sign said.. We said never mind and took our money elsewhere. SUPER RUDE. We were excited to come back and try the gelato and tamales but we will not be spending any more of our money in there.
