They served us good food with quick and friendly service on a very busy day in Deadwood. I had their take on the classic Monte Cristo, which was most enjoyable. It's not battered or fried, and is served on their own cinnamon marble bread. Good prices and plenty of interesting-looking baked goodies on display. View all feedback.
What Allison C doesn't like about Cheyenne Crossing:
Food was awesome. Our service however was not. Our server Kim took it up herself to ask if my son (who is not autistic) was autistic. Completely rude and out of line. My childs medical history is not your business. Get some class and learn to mind your own business. View all feedback.
The Indian Tacos and pancakes are the two of many reasons why people keep coming here to eat, but can we just take a moment to celebrate the carrot cake served here!!! It is decadent! Dave knows how to run a restaurant and is a master at food presentation as is evident by the people lined up to eat here! Don't be in a hurry, just sit back, enjoy your food, and be prepared to want to come back!
Cheyenne Crossing never disappoints! The Indian tacos are delicious and the service is always friendly. Just note that it is a small restaurant so if you have a big party they may be a bit of a wait but it is well worth it!
I was born in Deadwood, this place means so much to me.. even though it had been 40 years since I was there last, that is until just a couple of days ago. It brought back a lot of beautiful memories and the staff is just as sweet as they ever were I think I spent at least 45 minutes in the gift shop couldn't leave without a bottle of menopause wine it was awesome I'll be back in March thank you for being wonderful
Breakfast was excellent hostess was great and funny can't go wrong here had dinner there also was wonderful
Had the Indian taco on the fried pan bread. It was very good. And of course the carrot cake. (My husband even tried the carrot cake and he isn't a carrot cake eater). It true stands up to the hype.
