What OxonTC doesn't like about Jean's Cafe:
Beautiful place, with amazing pictures of Le Touquet during heyday. However we ordered breakfast… we had a brown paper bag of last nights bread.. not even baguette! With some butter and a hot drink… that was it! Stale bread and butter… couldn’t quite believe it! There should have been an option if cooked but no chef apparently! And surrounded by bakeries that could have provided great fresh bread or croissants! Stay... View all feedback.
Great food choices for all of us. The calamari and bavette were particularly enjoyable as was the charcutetie/ pate board. Service was good and very helpful.
We ventured into Jean 's Caffe on two seperate occasions, on a cold December day we resored ourselves with some very good 'vin chaud ' and then later returned for a delightful dinner. A good choice of delicious food well presented a served efficiently.
Arrived in Le Touquet for a long weekend with friends to find usual favourite closed so popped in to Jeans to see if they had a table . A very friendly French gent reserved us a table for the evening and kindly spoke English realising my French was not up to scratch! When shown to our upstairs table we liked the warm cosy atmosphere. The wine list was varied but expensive so we opted for beers and vodka. Food was served promptly and was delicious… I had the chicken cordon bleu … very rich and tasty. Pudding was sorbet … and icecream all wonderful. Great place to eat and would return.
Very welcoming staff, typical decor, exquisite cuisine, everything was excellent. We'll be back.
Friendly atmosphere! waitress and waitress very attentive and competent!
