We visited on a very wet Saturday evening and were not inclined to walk far in the rain. However, this place seemed very welcoming from the street and we were not disappointed. A warm welcome from the maitre d' who did not mind me mangling his native language. We chose a fixed price main/dessert. Located in the old town, this restaurant is open on Monday. Food was good, but not exceptional. Service was friendly, but also not exceptional.
Really lovely, attentive staff who took care to give us everything we wanted and accepted our special requests without question. Food was delicious. Clearly a very popular restaurant and well deserved (I am bemused by some of the negative reviews on here! Glad I took no notice).
Lovely meal on the terrace. Excellent food, excellent value. Found it by chance and took a chance as it was almost empty. Full when we left!
During a short stay in Le Mans earlier this year we ate here twice. The menu is somewhat restricted but if you like what's on offer you'll find the food more than satisfactory. The staff are very friendly and speak English. Wine is not cheap and only a small selection is available by the glass.Overall we enjoyed are meals here and the standard is well above the other offerings in Vieux Mans. Give it a try - you won't be disappointed.
The restaurant's outdoor seating in a friendly, private courtyard setting was fully occupied, indoor seating nearly empty. Staff were friendly and accomodating. Kitchen was a little slow. The choice in the fixed menus was quite limited, and a-la-carte options near non existent. A half step above the nearby restaurants, and perfectly fine for another visit, though slightly expensive for what it offers.
