Perched right next to the nudist beach, this serves as bar and restaurant. We were on the beach early (before the meerkats) and booked for 14.00. Had wonderful food. Gambas and Moules right in the far corner table next to the sea, which regularly came up under the boards. Lovely atmosphere, great service. A couple of beers and a glass of rosé, then back to the beach to fall asleep naked in the shade. View all feedback.
Bon repas , serveuse sympa!
As every year a must-have restaurant for fish. The frame is beautiful. the bosse elsa and her staff are very kind and attentive but just a little dish one of the waitresses is not always under her best day and according to her mood sometimes makes answers to our requests a little disparant because her colleague always has the smile and is very responsive. It doesn't prevent us from spending an excellent time in this magical place.
This place is all about the freshness of the fish and the feu du bois. The restaurant is on a wooden stage built above the water on a beautiful beach. Lots of customers arrive by boat, a rowing boat comes out to meet you and row you to the beach. They are famous for their bouillabaisse a Provençal speciality at 70 euros a head, minimum 2 persons. The sea bass is best value at around 30 euros. The beach is a popular naturist beach so don't bother to visit if you are opposed to naked people!
We love the little hidden beach at Le Layet and we love Chez Jo the little fish restaurant perched on the water there. No fancy gourmet food, just excellent fish and sea food, and hearty atmosphere. Wish we could eat here more often.
