a real authentic restaurant held by a Mauritian. staff is very available. The kitchen is excellent from the entrance to the dessert. Aperitives are really affordable, don't deprive yourself of a good little punch! For dessert, ask the chef to make you his banana coconut doughnuts. View all feedback.
What Victoire Robin doesn't like about Le Massala:
Insipid cuisine from beginning to end, including white rice, dubious products, in particular the mud and sausage, service at the same level. The reunion and Mauritian cuisine deserves better. One of our worst choices. View all feedback.
Reasonable waiting time. I advise to take the arranged rum that is very good. a little disappointed by the quality of the fish (requin) but the very tender meat always accompanied by rice and red beans. Prices are reasonable, the most expensive menu is about 15€. The map is quite diverse.
We were leaving for a romantic evening in the Indian Ocean with a lobster in sight. and it was our worst experience in 2016, and even 2015. even 2014 !bref, it was a 1/2 mini-mini-langouste, big bouquet in a pitiful establishment. the waiter seemed to be the fiston - dried - of the boss, cook, barman.Brussels, if you want to spend a good evening at st françois : go elsewhere!

Certainly the facade and the room are really uncomfortable. Of course, the decor leaves to be desired, the boss is a little drunk and all that is written on the map is not always available but the kitchen is worth the detour. For living in the Indian Ocean, we find the true tastes of this cuisine. The dishes are made at the request therefore the service is a little long but to taste caps (a sort of steam ravioli) of this quality or a sausage rougail with the true taste of rougail with the true accompaniments, it is worth waiting. The punches are good, the final arranged rum too. has really tried to (re)discover the true cuisine of the Indian Ocean.
Good atypical cuisine. staff is very welcoming even with a good groupon the room is very family
