We stayed in a standard room for €72. It was adequate, with a kettle, tea, coffee, and sugar. The TV screen was a good size. Reception hours were limited, hence the 3 stars for service. I'd like to respond to your reply. Sophie and I stayed on Saturday, April 11th, on the 2nd floor. Please don't spread misinformation when our experience was quite positive.
A beautiful place and excellent service. I dine there every time I'm in Le Bugue and wouldn't dream of going anywhere else!
On April 18, 2026, we received a very warm welcome upon arrival and were truly surprised by the enchanting setting. The food was very good, and I highly recommend this place; it's definitely worth discovering.

We came for Dinner with 3 people. Spring rolls as starters were okay, salad with cheese as well. As main courses we picked 2 types of gamba dishes and tbe duck breast. The duck breast was ordered to be medium. It came well dine on the slim side, and rare (or better raw on the thicker side. Hard to imagine how the cook managed to prepare this! The gamba main course came with 5 gambas, a little bit if rice and 2 leaves of salad (for 22€ . Best was the waiter, who asked if everything was good only listened shortly about my explanation about the raw duck breast, turned around in the middle of my sentence and walked away. After that we were completely ignored by the staff. I went upstairs to pay, was asked if we had coffee or dessert, which I declined with the information that nobody came to ask if we would have wanted anything else. No reaction, I paid and left. In my perspective a rather overpriced (for what is served restaurant, which tries to make fast money from tourists with not at all authentic asian dishes. Quite disappointing!
Booked ahead for 6 persons. Table was ready when we arrived. Waitress was very good and attentive. Started mains and deserts all very good and lots of it too. Thoroughly enjoyed and will return.
Vietnamese and French dishes. I think they better make a choice to be purely Asian. Nems we’re good but could have had more spices, same for the asian style main dishes. French dishes were not great for their price. Please improve the choices of wine. On the upside, the view on the river is very nice.
Lovely setting by the river. Great service, family and dog friendly. Clean and nice food. Not traditional French, but good and reasonable price
Traditional Perigord specialities with an Asian twist. We had the best magret de canard in 2 weeks and a superb bavette. Attentive service and a lovely location by the river. Highly recommend!

Back, thanks to sabrina and bastien. very good reception friendly and dynamic team. always as good with quality and season products. a recommend . evening price stage with menu à la carte. It's rare.

Very friendly little hotel, very clean room. a breakfast with good products. We ate at the restaurant, the meal was very good, fresh quality products. a very nice and motivated little waitress. The bosses are very welcoming.
