Here's SO GOOD. The waitress was a complete treasure. I've never tried. I wasn't a fan because they tasted like dirt. However, we have cooking with Cajun spices, shrimps, snow crabs, mussels, sausage, corn and potatoes. Everything was amazing. Plenty of taste and food. Be ready to get mess! View all feedback.
What michael mount doesn't like about Hook Reel Cajun Seafood:
This was the second location we visited. This was a family dinner of 6 of us. Jasmine was friendly and attentive. Always smiling. We all enjoyed the food we ordered. The beer(Bluemoon)wasn't as cold as we liked. We had to ask for additional frosted glasses, which helped a little. This was the same at the previous location as well.Find out how Texas Roadhouse keeps their beer super cold.I also noticed two young gentleme... View all feedback.
Ocean themed Shenanigans level decor. It 's kind of fun. The boils are understandably expensive but fantastically delicious. Quite messy as well but that 's part of the fun.? Gloves, bib and wet wipe are provided. How close this is to actual Cajun food, I can 't say, but it 's worth going back to try something else.
Food was awesome...server was excellent. I just happen to bump into your restaurant by accident, as I was staying at Best Western literally walking distance. Thank you Parking: Lots of parking areas, no issues there at all.
Hook Reel deserves 10 stars, really! They just perfectly nestled themselves into 1 of my favorite restaurants! Loved everything we ordered, it was all so very tasty!! Make sure to try the deep fried pickles! Ultra-yum! ?
Normally, we have great service. This time, it was terrible. She brought our appetizers, main course, and dessert all at the same time. Our main course and desserts were cold by the time we got to them. She never came back to check on us or even ask if we wanted refills.
Hook Reel is known for their seafood boils. You choose a seafood, choose a sauce and they mix it up with potatoes, corn and sausage and bring it out in a plastic bag. It can get a little messy so they provide you with a bib and plastic gloves. I like the fried calamari and the coconut shrimp for appetizers. Lately I've been getting a shrimp salad. It's basically just a regular salad with mixed greens, carrots, onions, tomatoes with shrimp. What I like about it, is that the shrimp are jumbo -not those little tiny shrimp at all. And the shrimp has a distinct, buttery taste to it. My husband ordered the fried chicken salad, which is basically the same as the shrimp salad, except the jumbo shrimp is substituted with fried chicken tenders and he said it's one of the best fried chicken salads for the price. Overall, they have a pretty good amount of items to choose from on the menu.
