Large group, we had many different items. Peanut slaw is really good. French onion soup very good. Meatloaf tasted sour. 4 different people tried it. All said the same thing, nasty. Husband had seabass. He didn't even finish it. Bread brought to table, it is literally a plain loaf of bread slices. Cut in half and put in a basket with butter packets. I ordered prime rib. The ribs were delicious, and the peanut coke slaw was absolutely delightful. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, complemented by great music. Our server was extremely friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this place!
This is a greater Cincinnati best kept secret. We were sat in the post office booth. What a deal! Great prices, great service and wonderful food. We found this place after skiing at Perfect North Ski Resort. You won't be disappointed. The French Onion soup is to die for.
How was the service? Phenomenal! Our server was a nice young man named Kyle, he took really good care of our group. He was fast and very polite. Would I eat there again? Yes. Just realized they do carry out and already planning for our next visit. How was the food/drink? Superb! I ordered the Seafood Linguine and it was delicious. The sauce was so yummy and creamy. My husband ordered the famous rack of ribs and it did not disappoint! Also, the famous peanut slaw is amazing. How was the vibe/aesthetic? It is a cozy and intimate setting with classic style. How was it priced? For two meals, an appetizer and drinks, we spent 75 bucks. We few that this was a very fair price. We really appreciated our server and feel like he went above an beyond. If you get a chance, sit in Kyle's section!
Whisky's was a place we used to go to years ago, we went last night WOW what a great experience. The hostess was very accommodating on a busy Sat night, service was fantastic. We ordered the slaw, ribs shrimp/lobster pasta which were phenomenal. Nice work we'll be back real soon.
