This is a fantastic little place in East Lawrence. There's plenty of free parking, the baristas have an eclectic vibe, and the atmosphere is full of character! Plus, they have a lovely outdoor porch where you can relax. I highly recommend supporting this wonderful local business to help it thrive. They host a variety of fun events, including art shows, music nights, clothing swaps, and more. Their creativity in organizing these events always motivates me. Be sure to follow them on Instagram @decadelawrence! Oh, and the coffee is delicious!
The iced chai was good but a bit weak. The grilled cheese was better than the egg sandwich. The muffin was as tough as leather.
I visited this restaurant for the first time with my boyfriend. As soon as we approached the counter, the staff began listing a long list of unavailable menu items, most of which were things I had intended to order. Unfortunately, it just wasn't a good experience for me.
I love this place. The vibes are great and their mochas are really tasty, and my favorite plant store is right next door. Although I have to give 4 stars because of the lack of outlets nearby the seating areas so make sure your laptop is charged before you get here
On paper my bill should have been $5.50 plus tax, but came out as $9.05. The explanation was that the menu price was for a smaller size (larger size not listed) and that there was an automatic 20% tip.Just raise your prices people. No one's into the hidden fee game. (Couldn't find large prices or service fees listed anywhere.)Coffee was great, though.

The coffee and ambiance at this restaurant are fantastic. While their vegan food choices are not extensive, their white chili with tamale and cashew sour cream is absolutely delicious. It's recommended to call ahead as the menu is frequently changing and they may run out of certain items. Please note that the house-made cashew milk contains honey. It would be great to see some vegan baked goods added to their regular selection.
I recently visited this charming restaurant and was pleased to find that they offer three vegan meal options on their small menu. I tried the breakfast burrito and found it to be quite enjoyable. The atmosphere of the patio area was lovely, and I also appreciated that they were able to accommodate my request for an iced coffee with cashew milk without honey. I look forward to returning in the future.
I absolutely adore this place for its cozy atmosphere and delicious coffee. I enjoy sitting on the deck or inside the lovely shop. My only wish is that they offered more vegan food options! The menu changes often, with the owner constantly introducing new dishes. During the warmer months, they offer vegan ice cream flavors which I cannot wait to try. Some of my favorite vegan dishes in the past include the shiitake rice bowl, plantain rice bowl, and white bean chili with a vegan tamale. I believe their no bake cookies are vegan, but unfortunately, the rest of their pastries are not. The staff is very knowledgeable and accommodating, and they have even customized dishes to make them vegan for us. I have heard rumors that they are thinking about expanding the restaurant, which may mean more vegan options in the future.

I found this restaurant to be truly charming! They offer a limited menu with a choice of three vegan meal options. I was informed that the menu changes frequently, so it may vary depending on the day. I tried the breakfast burrito and enjoyed it. I also ordered an iced coffee with cashew milk (I made sure there was no honey in the recipe). The ambiance of the terrace and the restaurant as a whole was delightful. I will definitely be returning in the future!
I absolutely adore this place. I love coming here to enjoy a cup of coffee on the deck or inside their charming shop. My only complaint is that I wish they offered more options for vegans. They frequently update their menu and the owner always introduces new dishes. During the warmer months, they have a variety of vegan ice cream flavors that I can't wait to try. Some of my favorite vegan dishes from the past include the Shiiitake rice bowl, Plantain rice bowl, and white bean chili with a vegan tamale. While their pastries are not vegan, I don't believe their bags are either. The staff is always helpful and accommodating, sometimes even altering dishes to make them vegan for us. I've heard rumors that they may be expanding the restaurant, which would hopefully mean an expansion of their vegan cuisine as well. (Review updated on 2017-07-31)
Great coffee and atmosphere. Vegan dishes are limited, but they have a delicious white chili that comes with a tamale and cashew sour cream. It is best to call because their menu often changes and sometimes run out. The homemade cashew milk contains honey. I would like to see that they add some vegan baked goods to the regular offers.
Quiet cozy small coffee shop in walking distance of the main strip. it wasn't a very big room, but I never felt full and could have a conversation without feeling as if I were disturbed near the mozens. I have a cold brew that was delicious. I would definitely be back in this coffee shop.
