Overall, the drinks here are quite good. I usually order the Vietnamese coffee, but I recently tried some of the food and I can't say I was very impressed. I had the Buffalo chicken wrap, which mostly consisted of lettuce, and my friend ordered the chicken sandwich, which was similarly about 90% lettuce. View all feedback.
What Melissa Andrews doesn't like about Lu's Cafe Bakery:
I seem to have the worst luck ordering here. Every time something gets messed up. (I order a beef bahn mi and get chicken or ask for nothing in my coffee and they add cream) So those experiences in themselves made me hesitant to go back but today I was really craving their coffee. I asked for no ice because it ends up tasting like water when I 'm working outside. This is how much you get for $5. No place has ever rip... View all feedback.

I asked for no ice because it ends up tasting like water when I 'm working outside. This is how much you get for $5. No place has ever ripped me off when I asked for no ice. They could have justsaid yeah but we only fill it 2/3 up and I wouldn 't have been so let down Two stars because the coffee is good but not worth all the frustration
Very fresh and very good food. The banh mi steak with jalapenos was excellent, as well as the Vietnamese iced coffee. The staff are super nice too. Definitely worth a visit. It can be very busy at lunch time, even to pick up a pre-order you may have to wait in line for several minutes.

The César Restaurant is no longer in operation, but it had a good reputation in its time.
