I've experienced too many occasions where I place my order online, only to end up waiting an additional 20 minutes at the restaurant on top of the usual pickup time. I just wish they were more transparent about these delays.

They advertise steak Yaroa but only provide ground beef for an extra charge. I do not recommend ordering through DoorDash for this restaurant. They got my drinks wrong and didn't contact me at all about any unavailable items. When I called to report the incorrect order, the woman on the phone was very unprofessional.

Th... read more Update 2/15/22: I chose to visit again and sample a different dish. I ordered the grilled BBQ ribs, and they were fantastic—unlike any ribs I’ve ever tasted! The salad was fresh and crunchy, and the mashed potatoes were quite good too. I will definitely return; everything was perfect!

I ordered the Monfongo Trio, which came with yucca, green plantains, and yellow plantains. I absolutely loved it! I can't wait to try more dishes on their menu in the future.

After searching for a restaurant with an open kitchen in Boston and coming up empty due to it being past midnight, we decided to head home and try a local spot... read more After searching for a restaurant with an open kitchen in Boston and coming up empty due to it being past midnight, we decided to head home and try a local spot instead. It turned out to be the best decision we could have made! The food was excellent, and our waitress was incredibly attentive and knowledgeable. She provided great recommendations, and each of us absolutely loved our meal.
