We had dinner at Urban Eatery recently, and were very impressed! The meals were huge, lovingly prepared, and high in quality. I had the bream (2 big pieces + perfectly cooked veggies, and great chips), and my parents had vegetarian pizza, and Caesar salad. We all enjoyed our meals immensely. Highly recommended. The restaurant serves generous portions of delicious Indian cuisine, with attentive and helpful staff. There was no long wait for our meals, which we all enjoyed and shared. The takeaway service is very popular and the food maintains its high quality.
Our visit here was unplanned - the place we had planned to eat in was closed so we decided to try this one. As we walked in the door we were immediately struck by the great aroma of complex middle-eastern spices. The food lived up to the aroma. We had a simple meal - two curries, rice and naan, and it was all excellent. The decor is simple, timber tables and chairs, timber floor, it is clean and the service is friendly, efficient and good.You wouldn't come for the decor - eg the toilet is outside and very basic - but the food was, as the name suggests, superb. We will definitely be back.
This restaurant is about great food rather than fancy decor. No bottled sauces here and all our dishes were really tasty. Booze is BYO and the meal cost is very reasonable. We will be back...
