Stopped here to get a couple of pies, a sausage roll and pastie. The lady serving was friendly and pleasant. The curry pies were delicious. Loved that they add rice to them. What User doesn't like about Hot Bake Bakery:
My husband and I like our coffees and we are always looking for new places to enjoy one. We had a coffee latte and a cappuccino at this place and they both were not good, it looked promising but it was tasteless. I have given the coffees two stars only because the foamed milk looked velvety but a coffee is more flavour than looks and also for customer service. 12.40pm on a Friday and there were ten other people in the shop - must mean it's a popular place! The service wasn't brilliant (understandable as they were busy) but it could have been a little friendlier.Ordered a medium long black coffee ($4.20) to takeaway, and they were happy to use my KeepCup, which is a positive. But the girl just left it on the counter & didn't bother to communicate this with the barista, leading to a bit of confusion for the staff! The coffee was good! And as a bonus they have a deal for a free cinnamon doughnut with any hot drink purchased. Most people were buying pre-made rolls/sandwiches or getting them made up. But there was also a few hot items available for purchase (mainly pies), and a number of different sweet baked items - priced between $4.20-$9. The vanilla slice looked particularly tempting!
Really nice coffee. Smell of fresh baking lured me in and I wasn't disappointed by the taste either.

As a pastie lover, I've tried pasties from almost every bakery in Albury and Wodonga. The pasties from Hot Bake far outweigh any others in town. I have been a regular for 12 years. The bakery also serves Campos coffee which is a good quality coffee.
