I went to this restaurant with only a few people ahead of me in line. They decided to order a family or party meal, but I wasn't sure. The cashier took my order along with theirs and they started adding more plates. There was no one else in the restaurant except for us. My friend was next door at Subway. I tried to explain to the cashier that it would be faster to give me my one plate first instead of waiting for them to prepare six plates. My friend texted me when she was ready to eat. By the time I was finally served, I had waited for almost 20 minutes. I expressed my dissatisfaction and asked for a discount for the long wait. If I had seen the group of six ahead of me, I would have gone to Subway with my friend. The cashier seemed oblivious to the situation and let them continue adding plates without considering the wait time. It was very unprofessional. When I asked for a discount, the cashier claimed it hadn't been that long (even though they had thrown away my cold plate before starting a new one) and begrudgingly gave me one. I'm sorry, Mexi Grill, but this will be the last time I dine here. I was a customer since your opening week. Please train your staff properly or hire people who can think. By the way, my friend had finished her sub and chips by the time I left.
I regret to say that the dining experience at this restaurant was not great. The only positive aspect was the friendly staff. We ordered burritos, tacos, and churros. Unfortunately, the meat in the burritos and tacos was overcooked, and the beans, rice, and meat lacked seasoning. They were also quite dry and needed more sauce - there was barely a teaspoon of sauce on each dish. The churros came in a set of four with a small portion of chocolate sauce, which was barely enough for one churro. None of us enjoyed our meals and we have no plans to return.
Very Chipotle-like, burritos, bowls and salads. Food was fresh and delicious. Good size shop; lots of setting space, nice decor and not too crowded. Employees are nice, service is quick. Around 35$ for 4 people.
What it can do, we love the burritos here. we order once a week tooleast, but we both were sick from the meal times and also the burritos were both not properly packed, rice was super hard and meat felt dry and...fell apart a few bites in.
