Restaurant Bleu - Laval

We came for lunch, it was pretty empty (only two clients), we weren't expecting much since we had already seen the comments here and rating. This restaurant is not that bad and I don't think it should have such a bad rating. I had a chicken shish taouk salad and baklava for lunch. The food was delicious and all of us (5 people) loved our food. Service was good too, waitress was very friendly. We had a coworker's birthday and she was offered free baklava.Only reason I'm not giving an excellent rating is the lunch menu. Usually in lunch menus, you get at least coffee with it and a lot of times dessert too. I had a salad on the lunch menu and nothing came with it. Actually, on the lunch menu, you get your meal and that's it. It wasn't too expensive, 12$ for salad and 3.99 for baklava. Overall, good restaurant, we'll probably come back for lunch.

Bad management, food & Service.For the manager & the owner who couldn't manage 50 people and more than half of them left without gets served I will give zero.For the food Quality I will give zero.For the service, waitress that they don't know what they do I will give you zero.I thing we got scammed by this people ! As an Arabic style food I strongly (don't recommended).

I hate writing reviews like this but I have to.the place was empty, but smart me, I decided to go in, big mistake!! It was Saturday night and as usual centropolis was full, restaurants were full !we stood at the door while waitresses were just chatting, then we sat down, and didn't even get the menus, so after waiting , I asked someone for the menu ( the Host?) and he got it for us, no sorry for the wait , nothing.the food quality is ZERO, listen I am Lebanese and I know how my food should taste like! Food didn't taste fresh or freshly made, it tasted like something I can pick up from a can.we ended up getting a pizza after.just because you put the food in a "modern" way doesn't make it taste good ! So we ate and decided to leave, guess what? Another wait !!! the waitress was busy chatting and when we got tired of waiting my husband got up and waved to her, and she didn't budge, she asked him to wait !! so if you are not in the mood to do your job, please stay home!when I pay big bills I expect some kind of service, any kind! I must say these days restaurants that surpass good customer service are few...so on a night where there are no customers in Blue the service is terrible !

We went there for an engagement, Everything was very fresh and the service was great, Very modern decor and it looks brand new.

Unlike most of the reviews tend to advise, we had very good and friendly service. The staf was very attentive and tended to our table regularly. We ordered the regular lebanese dishes such as homos, taboulé, baba ghanouj, kebe nayeh, shish taouk, kafta and shish Kabab and everything was as good as it would be in Lebanon. The prices are a little high, which is probably why the place was not very full, but it's worth the visit.
