They had a nice menu for... read more This is the second time we've eaten here. I had a lean smoked meat sandwich. It was the best smoked meat that I've had in a long time. They had a nice menu for kids, and because it was Easter weekend they gave my son a bag with a free chocolate bunny with smarties and jelly beans from Rocky Mountain chocolate. Our waitress was also really nice.

Most ordered smoked meat platter, some ordered shish kebab chicken and pork. Cutlery was not clean, some bent, very old. Plates were old. Smoked meat was OK, the portion is smaller that of previous owner ChenoysQuality of food is not good. We got each on our plates one pickle that were recycled probably, tasted awful, they did not taste good at all, rather washed, no salt, no vinagre, just plain cucumbers that were dipped in hot water before serving. We complained right away to the waitress who told the staff member wo was cutting smoked meat a the counter who right away went somewhere and got us good pickles! The coleslaw was tastless.I had ordered a smoked meat sandwich, not a platter, the portion was small, a poor looking plate. The grilled chicken kebab was ok according to our friend.The bathroom in the basement was EXTREMELY DIRTY, SMELLY, awful, worse than a toilet in a third world country! I wonder where are the government inspectors to check on this!No one ordered desserts since we just wanted to leave this place. We will never return to this place ever.

The service was good, but the breakfast was the worst we've ever had.

I like Chejoys, but I feel that the prices of many items on their menu are too high.
