Service was simply excellent and extremely kind and courteous. Food was typical real) Italian with a taste of Calabria that is rare to find, particularly in Lausanne. The sword fish carpaccio was outstanding. Paccheri with ‘nduja just delicious. Wine list short but with an excellent selection. And the bill was reasonable given the quantity and quality of food. What User doesn't like about Zafferano:
Pasta was dry, boiled uneven. Menu says Pancetta, but there were 3 super thin pieces of bacon on the dry pasta and the sauce was too little. We went because the reviews were good here, but honestly nothing nice can think about eating. View all feedback.
This small Italian restaurant was a real discovery. The tunatar was excellent and the swordfish Carpaccio was absolutely delicious. We also enjoyed the wine selection through the glass, both the Chardonnay from the Venice region and the Sangiovese/Merlot. The waitress was very friendly and professional. I will return!
Finding this place (probably) was a happy discovery. During this first visit we enjoyed the warm, personal welcome and atmosphere as well as the quality of food and services. This has been confirmed at each of our many visits ever since.
This tiny place is run by a couple of guys who do their best to give you the best experience. Fresh Italian ingredients, cozy location and very kind staff. Give it a try!
Diesen Ort (durch Zufall) zu finden, war eine glückliche Entdeckung. Wir haben bei diesem ersten Besuch die herzliche, persönliche Begrüßung und Atmosphäre sowie die Qualität des Essens und des Services genossen. Dies wurde bei jedem unserer vielen Besuche seitdem bestätigt.
Das Restaurant ist nicht ganz einfach zu finden. Man wird herzlich begrüsst. Der Service ist zuvorkommend und kompetent. Die Vorspeise (Vitello tonnato) war ausgezeichnet. Auch der grüne Salat war lecker. Die Pasta war al dente, die Sauce ausgezeichnet. Das Entrecôte war auf den Punkt gebraten und schmeckte sehr gut. Als Dessert ist das Tiramisu empfehlenswert. Wenn wir das nächste Mal in Lausanne sind werden wir sicher hier wieder einkehren.
