Was Anonym at Shibata a mag?

What Anonym dislikes about Shibata:
almost 100 chf pp with a home made tea that tasted cheap. atmosphere and location reminds you of a pub not an expensive Japanese restaurant. Entrée was worth his money but not the rest. It is though a modern cuisine with Japanese influence and European...influence, not a good mixture in the Japanese kitchen. View all feedback.

I went to Shibata for the first time with my mother today. We were absolutely enthusiastic about their warm welcome and delicious menu. It was such a pleasure to be there. I look forward to introducing my friends to this beautiful restaurant.

Fantastic, small restaurant near the UN organization, quite quiet terrace. The menu often changes in the course of the year. Service is efficient, pleasant, guided by the owner, the other owner is her husband, a Japanese cook from Hokkaido. That's why, North Japanese cuisine. With some French techniques that makes for a magical combo. Other comments mention the upper end prices; if you go for lunch, you have a great sample of what is done in the evening and for the menus. At a reasonable price. Wide range of sachets and whiskys. Go, taste, enjoy, you won't regret it. They are closed on weekends (because they are so successful in the week).

They said they had done decent sushi and wanted to try it! Nothing unusual, but can not expect much from a Krug restaurant outside of Japan! Did not like their green tea and limited selection of drinks.
