Hands down best fried chicken in town. Their spicy fried chicken is amazing.
Fried wings are so good! I live in Annapolis and won't buy the fried chicken from this Amish Market salty and not good. This one though very good. I will say though, the market in Annapolis is cleaner, brighter, although smaller. The meat section inLaurel is a little sketchy looking to me.
The baked wings at Dj's Wing Counter are fantastic! I live in Annapolis and wouldn’t recommend the roasted chicken from the Amish Market there—it’s too salty and lacks flavor. However, the wings here stand out as excellent. I should also note that the market in Annapolis feels cleaner and more welcoming, despite being smaller. In contrast, the meat section in Laurel seems a bit less appealing to me.
By the time I finish, it’s mostly just bones left. Perfect comfort food for a quick bite. Always served hot with an irresistible aroma!
The best fried chicken around! Prices are very reasonable (check out my photos of the October 2021 menu). Be ready for a long wait, but it's definitely worth it.
