I went during happy hour today, and there weren't many people there. I also was not greeted upon entry, nor after I sat at a table in the bar area. So, I went to the bar, where I had to move three times before I could find a clean spot. Eventually, thebartender asked me if I wanted a drink. While fixing my drink, he dropped an orange on the counter and then still put it in mydrink! Luckily, I saw him and reminded him that one of the pieces of fruit had fallen on the counter. After giving me a coldstare, he immediately fixed me another drink that he spilled all the way to the counter and all over the counter. Amazingly, itwas still full. Since it was one server for the entire bar area, he shuffled between the actual bar and the seated patrons. Hefixed drinks, rang up orders, counted cash, collected credit cards, emptied boxes, put away glasses, texted on his cell phone, carried out food, chatted with co-workers, and then put fruit in drinks with his bare hands. One would think that therestaurant would require him to use tongs for the fruit, since he is touching all of these surfaces. My food was good, butexpensive, and I wasn't given any silverware. There oven was also broken, so there were many items on the menu that patronscould not order. In addition, the beer battered pork ribs are no longer on the happy hour menu, and they no longer come withfries. The bartender told me that fries were $3, but I was charged $4.15 on my bill. The ribs were nearly $15. I alsolearned that I could taste as many of the beers as I like because BJs brews all of their beers. I recommend Berry Blast whichis listed as a cider; it tastes like Moscato wine. I really enjoyed trying it, and it only has 3% alcohol. I tried JeremiahRed, which tasted more like beer, but not as strong. It was also served in a crack glass. Then, I tried a third, Moon somethingthat tasted like champagne. Though I had to flag the bartender down each time I had a question or needed somethi
In town for a family event. My daughter recommended BJ's. Glad she did! I had the prime rib dip, my daughters had the shrimp scampi, and the brisket burger. All of these came quickly and were delicious. Our server, Dasha, made the experience great withher bubbly personality and prompt service. Will be back!
Food and drinks were really good! I took off stars because service was a little slow and the restaurant was dirty. When we were seated we were walked down an aisle of empty booths will plates still on every table. The ladies bathroom was also filthy withtoilet paper all over the floor and sink. I had to fight to get out the stall without toilet paper stuck to my shoes. Again thefood was great but maybe order for pickup or delivery.
I ordered the Deep Dish Ziti and it was a bit greasy. The fried couscous balls were yummy and great to share.
The portion sizes are very large and filling. The atmosphere is typically of any bar style restaurant with a slight sport focus due to the televisions. The wait time was quite long due to lack of staff and a full place. Food was definitely worth the waitand price. Wait staff were super accommodating. Would definitely recommend!
