Travelling for work to Tassie regularly went for dinner with a friend this looked promising from the outside with quite a few tables full. First service impression was ok they fitted us in. read moreA recent review of a Mexican restaurant in Launceston suggests that the food lacks heat and spice, with some items like the cactus wrap not living up to expectations. However, the churros dessert was a highlight despite the presence of many families with children. Another reviewer found the food to be flavorless, with the guacamole and rice specifically disappointing. The service was praised, but overall the food was considered lacking in quality. On the other hand, other diners enjoyed the large portions and flavorful dishes, with particular praise for the chili sauce. The service was friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere was relaxed. The margaritas were also highly recommended. Overall, the reviews were mixed, with some finding the food underwhelming and lacking in flavor, while others praised the authentic and delicious Mexican dishes and friendly service. The restaurant seems to be a popular choice in Launceston, with many diners planning to return despite some drawbacks in the food quality.
